Our Story
Nura Noor Learning Center was founded with a clear mission – to empower children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families by providing tailored support, expert guidance, and access to inclusive education opportunities. We believe every child deserves the right to a high-quality education, the chance to reach their full potential, and the opportunity to thrive in an environment that understands and nurtures their unique abilities. Our work focuses on SEND consultancy, advocacy, parental training, and bridging the gap between families, schools, and local authorities.
Nura Noor Learning Center is more than just a service – it’s a journey inspired by personal experiences. As a parent to children with special needs, facing the challenges, frustrations, and barriers within the education system firsthand has been the driving force. This personal experience motivated a pursuit of a Master’s degree in Education and dedicate over a decade to working within SEND, advocating for over 100 disadvantaged children to secure Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Every success story, no matter how small, reinforces the belief that with the right support, every child can flourish.

Our Exceptional Team
At Nura Noor Learning Center, our team is the heart of everything we do. We are a dedicated group of SEND professionals, educators, and support staff who share one common goal – to empower children and families to thrive. We are Compassionate & Understanding, Child-Centred and Culturally Inclusive. We embrace and celebrate diversity, ensuring our approach reflects and respects the cultural backgrounds of the families we serve. We work closely with parents, schools, local authorities, and other professionals to create the best outcomes and we never give up on finding solutions, even in challenging situations. We stand up for children’s rights, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.
Our team brings experience from teaching, special educational needs coordination, occupational therapy, speech and language support, and behavioural intervention. Many of our team members are parents or carers of children with SEND, giving us unique insight and understanding. We have strong partnerships with local councils, community organisations, and advocacy networks to bridge gaps in education and care, and we are committed to learning, staying up-to-date with legislation, best practices, and new approaches in SEND education.
Our Goal
Our plan next year is to open alternative provision for children who are missing vital education and support for families of SEND children.
